Do I need to register with CityCribs prior to searching for a new home?

You are not required to register with CityCribs when simply searching for listings however if you choose email alerts or decide to save your listings for future reference you will need to register free of charge.

How do I search for Rental or Sales listings?

CityCribs makes searching and finding your new home easy and fun.

1. Select the Search link on the homepage
2. Choose your desired City
3. Select "For Rent" or "For Sale" appropriately
4. Choose desired rental type i.e. Fee, No Fee, Short Term, Furnished or Event (This is not applied to "For Sale" )
5. Enter property criteria Beds (for studios type in "0") and Bathroom
6. Enter desired budget range
7. Select property Type i.e. apartment, brownstone, home
8. Enter square feet if necessary, this will narrow your search to entered size
9. Choose appealing features you may want in or on your property
10. Proceed with the "Next" button
11. Select you neighborhood of choice
12. Search by clicking "Display Results".

What if I am not finding properties that match my criteria?

CityCribs features thousands of properties however there may be times when your search request is not filled. In this case there are two options which will help you find your new home. Hundreds of new properties are posted daily on our web site, to make things easy without having to come back time after time, simply set up your search criteria and select email alerts, this function will enable our system to send you emails with property links when properties are posted that match your search. Another option available allows you to send your search to CityCribs, once receiving your inquiry CityCribs will put you in touch with a local realtor that is suited best to help you.

How do I set up email alerts?

On the search page, enter your search criteria, enter your email in the orange box and select the frequency of your alerts.

How do I unsubscribe from receiving email alerts?

To unsubscribe click on the link at the bottom of the emails you have received.

How can I communicate with listings and agents that interest me?

When finding your desired property simply view the detailed description and contact the advertiser listed or send an electronic message through our contact form located in each property listing.
